Field Notes 7/25/2026

These field notes are here for Silver Rose Games musings. You will find convention reports, upcoming projects, or just the ramblings of an old man.

For this first one I will go ahead notify you of the first project underway from SRG. I will take you back to a time when porch rocking was prevalent, corncob pipes filled the air with thick fragrant smoke, and the mountain hollers resonated with music and song.

“The Gem Miner’s Daughter” takes your players deep into the Shudder Mountains. There a hapless mining camp suffers catastrophe. A halfling miner’s daughter goes missing. It’s up to your PCs to come to the rescue and become heroes to the townsfolk of She-Balsam Gap.

The project is progressing smoothly. The manuscript has been written and edited. The preliminary art sketches are finished and soon to be inked and ready for final layout. The full color cover is also on its way to being finished. Multiple stretch goals are finished and more to be completed. I am over the moon to bring you this project.

Speaking of projects, the plan is to launch the backerkit January or February 2027. So keep your eyes open for more updates to follow.

Until then may your Luck roll always be a 1.
