Backstory

Five high school buddies showing up wearing backpacks overfilled with books one may or may not use in the weekend’s forays into a land of fantasy. One friend shows off the newest set of math rocks they picked up at Wizard’s keep. Another starts by quoting as many lines from Monty Python and the Holy Grail they can remember correctly or incorrectly. One thing is certain, laughter, fun and unforgettable times were to ensue.

Thus, the Company of the Silver Rose was founded.

Back in the late 1980’s, The Company of the Silver Rose completed many quests, leveled up, becoming legends of their time. The five friends, Jay (Buhner), Chance, Seth, Mark and myself , Michael, started something none of us could have dreamt would be decades in the making.

I want to uphold that legacy and share my love of Roleplaying Games with many old and new friends…
